I would have added Leonard Marshall, Alex Webster, Del Shofner and a few others.

Is it true that Tuffy Leemans used to play guitar on the team bus? I imagine with his given first name, all songs were in the key of A!

Dr.Jeff-I agree mostly. Especially Alex Webster. He always popped up in big game stories. Marshall, not so much. Don't get me wrong, he was really good but if it wasn't for LT, there is no Marshall.

Steven- That's the first I ever heard about Tuffy playing guitar on the bus. Interesting tidbit if it's true. Also, nice inside joke.

Only the inside joke part was real. Not too many people have that first name, and of course I thought of you know who. Had Tuffy actually played guitar, I'm sure the Ghost of Lombardi would have been aware.

Steve- haha ok. I thought you had some underground info on Tuffy. Our "Tuffy" sure does love that A chord.

12th Man- Awesome man. Thanks for stopping by. Please sign up as a follower, lord knows I need em'I like your list. You think Spider and Armstead make it? Could happen. One that I'm not sure of is George Martin. He was a 70's early 80's fan fav but his sack number is only 46 as they didn't count sacks for his first 7 years. Hope he makes it.

Will do, Ghost. I hate you for remembering Badgro!!! He's on my wall and I left him off. DAMN!!!! Armstead is wishful thinking (I think) and I threw Spider on because I thought he deserved it for playing well on some horrifying teams. He was a bit before my time so I'm going off what my dad would say about him. Great blog, pal. The 12th Man.

Spider Lockhart was my favorite Giant on defense. When I was a little kid playing football on the streets of Brooklyn, if I ever made a pick, I'd say I was like Spider.
The Giants were god-awful in those days, and he was one of their few good players.

...my favorite defensive player when i was 10 years old, not all time. Don't want you to think i'm a numbskull. Obviously, LT is the greatest defensive player in the history of the NFL.

12th man-Thanks again.

Steven- I could actually picture you as a little kid, running around Brooklyn as "Spider". That's your new nickname now, hope you like it. Funny though, when I was a kid, everybody was into "tagging". Tagging is writing your "nickname" on public property. My tag name was Spider. Ahh youth, so dumb.

Ghost!!! Armstead made it. I actually only saw his name while watching the game. George Martin made it as well.

12th Man - 1
Ghost of Lombardi - 1

Jerry- Haha man. Wow Armstead made it! I'm surprised. I wonder how Armstead made it but they left off Carl Banks? Banks should've made the cut.
